Cheryl & Erich Schaefer started Schaefer Yarn in 1980 and now live and work in Interlaken, a village just north of Ithaca in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York.

Nancy is a thick/thin twist light worsted yarn and comes 600 yards per hank.   Ideal for sweaters, tops and accessories.   More colorways are soon to arrive!

Anne is a georgeous sock yarn, that also can be used to make beautiful shawls.  It consists of 60% merino superwash wool, 25% mohair and 15 % nylon.
Andrea is 100% cultivated silk laceweight yarn.  Each hank is 1093 yards, plenty for that special shawl or stole.
