Felting is such a fun process and can be done with most any animal fiber. 

Different yarns will give different results and some may felt faster than others.

Absolute Wool is 100% New Zealand wool. This yarn comes in over 20 different colors and 5 variegated colors.   It is very economical.at $5.50/skein for 240 yards and felts wonderfully. Quantities are limited.

Mango Moon Wooly

This hand dyed yarn comes in 5 fruity colors and has a cool fuzz to it when felted.

Alpaca With A Twist

Big Baby, Baby Twist, Highlander and Landscapes will all felt wonderfully!  Although you might think these yarns too soft and luxurious for felting, the unique texture arrived from felting alpaca may be well worth it.
